This tutorial can be used to root all 2011 Xperia Devices.
Root allows apps to access your system files and gives you advanced control of phone.
Lets Start the process.
==== For Gingerbread ====
* Go to Settings > Sony Ericsson > Connectivity
- Untick Install PC Companion
- Select Mass Storage Mode in USB Connection Mode
* Go to Settings > Applications > Development
- Tick USB Debugging
* Go to Settings > Applications
- Tick Unknown Sources
==== For ICS ====
* Go to Settings > Security > Tick Unknown sources
* Go to Settings > Developer options > Tick USB debugging
* Go to Settings > Xperia > Connectivity > USB connection mode > select MSC mode
* Go to Settings > Xperia > Connectivity > Untick Install PC Companion

Notes:
* Make sure you have PC Companion Installed on PC. Also Make sure its not running keep it
closed or root will not be successful.
* Also make sure that you have no other phone drivers are installed like Samsung Drivers or
HTC drivers, Only PC Companion must be installed.

Eroot is in Chinese Language.
* Open Eroot.exe and cancel any dialog box opens.
* Connect your 2011 Xperia Device.
Eroot will detect your phone and show you an -Root option.
Click on -Root and your phone will be rooted in few seconds and it is recommended
to restart phone. Now you will see an SuperUser App in your phone.
Congrats your phone is rooted.
Mine Xperia Mini pro on .62 Firmware Gingerbread was rooted with this method.
