Its more optimized than the official firmwares by Samsung.
It will provide more speed and less battery life. The official
firmwares by Samsung are stable but provides poor performance.
If you want more speed on your device than install CM 7.2
from this tutorial.

Why I have to fall back to Unofficial Gingerbead?
Because If you flash CM 7.2 on Official Gingerbread than
3G will not work. (For most users)
OK If you have finished falling back than proceed to next stage.
Now Install Clockwork Recovery on your phone from here
Now Start Phone in Recovery Mode.
To start phone in Maintenance mode first you have to shut down
your phone and now comes the hardest step:

* Press Home Button of phone first.(When phone
is switched off)
* Keep home button pressed.
* Now press power button of phone while home
button is pressed.
Your phone will now switch on and you can leave all the pressed buttons.
Now your phone is started in Maintenance Mode. If it does not then keep
trying again and again. Now what you have to do is scroll using volume button

Select Install zip from SD card. (Remember :- Use Volume
buttons for Scrolling and Home button as OK)
Now locate the downloaded cm-7.2.0-cooper.zip and Install it.
Take a quick Nap till its getting Installed. (Zzz)
Reboot after CM 7.2 gets Installed.
(This method is fully safe)
