How to root Samsung Galaxy Ace ( GT-S5830

Hi, Rooting gives you advanced control of your phone.

You can removed unusual system software from phone. Change kernels. Etc.



So you have been searching web for root for your phone but can't find one. 

Here you are at right place. 


Lets Start:

First you have to download upd_1.zip.

Rename file to update.zip

Do not extract the file, Put  update.zip into SD card.
(Don't put update.zip in any folder, put it in the first level of SD card). 


Now, You have to restart Your phone into Maintenance mode.

To start phone in Maintenance mode first you have to shut down 

your phone and now comes the hardest step:

Read carefully or your phone will be bricked and then don't blame ME.



* Press Home Button of phone first.(When phone is switched off)

* Keep home button pressed.

* Now press power button of phone while home button is pressed.


Your phone will now switch on and you can leave all the pressed buttons.

Now your phone is started in Maintenance Mode. If it does not then keep 


trying again and again. Now what you have to do is scroll using volume buttons.


Scroll down one step to "apply update from SD card" or "apply update.zip from SD card" ,

you can scroll down using you volume keys. 

Now press home button on option "apply update from SD card"

(Home button acts as OK button)


Now as you SD card folders are in front of your eyes, you have to locate update.zip 

and press home button.

Now as your root is being installed you can go and unload your BOWLS.

Now, your root will be loaded and bowls will be unloaded, You can restart your phone.

Till your phone is fully started,You can take a quick nap and when you wake up you can  

see a new software on your phone "super user".
