AVG Antivirus Security for Android is an free Real-Time Virus protection App.

This App is also anti-theft protected. This App will save your android phone

from Spyware, Malware, Virus and harmful text messages and save your personal data.

It is not only an Antivirus but also an utility App.

This App will automatically kill tasks which slows down your phone therefore saving

performance and battery. This App will monitor your battery status and show the percentage

of battery left in phone.  You can even restrict internet data usage and monitor data usage.

It will scan all type of files like photos, docs, etc. same like desktop.

However there are not many viruses made yet for Android but this App provides a good

feature of Anti-Theft. If your phone gets stolen your device will keep on sending you location

in Google maps using its location services.


But using an antivirus on Android phones right now where no viruses are available is like a
